Polo @ Will Rogers, Anyone?

Polo has a history of being played by royalty & the elite. Considered to be “the oldest ball sport in the world.” Some still consider polo to be a “luxury” sport enjoyed by the elite. So why not be a part of it right here in L.A. ?

Click here for the Will Rogers Polo Club. Founded in 1953, this is the 13th oldest polo club in the US. The grounds are part of Will Rogers estate. The park was donated by his wife to the State of California on the grounds that it remain open for equestrian activities. After all, Will was inducted into the Museum of Polo and Hall of Fame.

You can be sure to have a great time watching a game & enjoying the nearby ocean breezes.

The Will Rogers turnoff is right off of Sunset. You’ll drive past a residential area, just keep going till you get to the park. Go south & you’ll turn into Santa Monica’s Rustic Canyon. Go north & you’ll be in Pacific Palisades. If you keep on Sunset, you’ll hit Pacific Coast Highway. Either way, you’re in a beautiful & magical part of L.A.

Here’s a few pictures from Will 🙂

Hope to see you there!
